Annexation granted for water treatment plant

The annexation of property targeted as the location for Piqua’s new water treatment plant was granted Sept. 3 by the Miami County commission.

The city-owned 45.503 acres along Ohio 66 in Washington Twp. was accepted for annexation by the Piqua City Commission in early July.
