The Civil Air Patrol Color Guard honored the flag. And many sang as the Star Spangled Banner was played, featuring a trumpet solo by Lindsey Richardson. Before the prayer, Anna Brooks of AHOP, sang “God of this City.”
The pastors attending included Russ Gumm, Xenia Nazarene; Ron Plemons, First Baptist Fairborn; Chuck Moore, Hillside Chapel; Steve Riggle Shawnee Hills Baptist; Chaplain Gaither, USAF; Josh Robinson, AHOP; and Mark Masterson, Creekside Community Church in Beavercreek.
The shofar was sounded by James Rhoades and Kay Bond, Greene County Prayer Coalition, closed the prayer time
