Pisacano is pictured on the box holding a solar panel that she installed at a Girl Scouts camp in New Jersey.
“The Girl Scouts place a strong emphasis on STEM-related fields and I’m really glad that they chose to picture me doing something that generates clean sources of energy,” she said.
Pisacano has been a Girl Scout since sixth grade and entered a contest her senior year of high school to be on the cover of a cookie box.
“I was involved with my troop a lot,” she said. “I earned the bronze, silver and gold awards in Girl Scouts. I think they also recognized my leadership for the work I do with the Girl Scouts’ summer camp.”
