Arrest made after Sinclair College building broken into, vandalized

Sinclair police are investigating after a person broke into and vandalized a building on Sinclair College’s campus Monday morning, according to a spokeswoman for the college.

“This happened in the early hours of the morning and was resolved before the start of classes,” said Deena John, spokeswoman for Sinclair College.

John said Building 14 was targeted by the vandal, noting that police had made an arrest of the person they believe is responsible.

“The security officer on duty followed protocol and notified the police department immediately,” John said.

The specifics about what was vandalized in the building was not immediately released, however we have requested the police report and will update this report with any new information.

John did not release the name of the person taken into custody.
