A 9-year-old Springboro boy signed on the dotted line Friday afternoon to join the University of Dayton Flyers baseball team.
Head Coach Jayson King was on hand for Dayton Baseball’s special signing day ceremony for Brady Scott through Team Impact, a Boston-based nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the quality of life for children facing serious and chronic illnesses through the power of team.
Brady was diagnosed with Fpies (food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome) and MCAS (mast cell activation snyndrom) in 2011, according to a UD release.
As a team member, Brady will attend Flyers practices, games, team dinners, events and more.
