Body found near trailer park

TURTLECREEEK TWP. — Warren County sheriff’s deputies are working to identify a man that was found late this afternoon, Dec. 7 near a pond and wooded area behind the Shadow Lake Mobile Park.

Authorities have an idea on the man’s identity, but no next of kin was found early Monday evening, according to Doyle Burke, chief investigator for the Warren County Coroner’s Office.

Burke said the white male was fully clothed and there were no preliminary indications of foul play or a cause of death. He also said he had no idea how long the body had been there.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday morning to determine a cause of death and his identity.

Deputies were called to the trailer park at 2479 N. Mason Montgomery Road at about 4:30 p.m. on a report of a dead person found outside.
