Bond $50,000 for man in 2016 Jefferson Twp. apartment complex shooting

Bond was set at $50,000 for a 23-year-old man accused of shooting another man at Olive Hills Apartments in in Jefferson Twp. in 2016, according to Montgomery County court records.

Re’Shawn M. Mize is facing two counts of felonious assault stemming from an April 2016.

The victim, Deonte McIntyre, sustained life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to a police incident report.

He was reportedly hit in the neck and stomach area.

Mize was indicted on felonious assault charges on Oct. 11, 2016.

He is currently being held in the North Central Correctional Institute in Marion on an unrelated charge.
