T-bone crash sends driver to hospital in Dayton

UPDATE @ 3:55 p.m.

The driver of a tan Mercedes pulled out in front of a black Dodge, which T-boned the Mercedes this afternoon at the intersection of West Second Street and Walton Avenue, Dayton police said.

Despite initial reports, no one was ejected in the crash.

However, the driver of the Mercedes was taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for arm injuries.

FIRST REPORT

A T-bone crash this afternoon sent at least one person to a local hospital.

Crews were called at 2:45 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle crash with possible ejection at the intersection of West Second Street and Walton Avenue.

The impact forced both cars into a nearby yard.

The extent of injuries was unknown.
