Summer concert series welcomes Reload
The 2016 Summer Concert Series, presented by the Centerville Arts Commission, continues July 31 with performers Reload. This rock band includes two trumpets, two saxophones and a trombone for a strong horn section.
All concerts start at 7 p.m. at Stubbs Park Amphitheater, 255 W. Spring Valley Road.

Free Friday classes to be held soon
The Kettering Recreation Complex, 2900 Glengarry Drive, offers free group exercise classes the first Friday of each month. The next free day will be held Aug. 5.
All classes are open to the public.

Movies Under the Stars scheduled
Movies Under the Stars will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at Delco Park, 1700 Delco Park Drive.
Family activities will begin at 6 p.m., and the movie will begin after dusk (about 9 p.m.).
This event is free and open to the public.
Preschool family greet dates set
A weekly park play event is scheduled through August for families with preschoolers. All play events will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at various parks throughout Kettering.
The next get together will be held Aug. 3 at Kantner Park, 1542 Brownleigh Road.
A staff member will be available to provide crafts and special activities. Families can also bring a picnic dinner to enjoy as well.

Books & Blocks to be held July 29
Wright Memorial Public Library, 1776 Far Hills Ave., will host Books & Blocks, a nontraditional storytime, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. July 29. This week’s theme is Round and Round We Go.
This program is geared toward children ages 18 months old through kindergarten enrollment. It includes playtime, and circle time with books, finger plays and rhymes. Siblings are welcome.

Sunshine Camp for preschoolers set
A morning camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday for kids, ages three to six years old.
Activities center on a weekly theme and include sports, art, nature, music, science, cooking and more. Campers will explore Countryside Park and Butterfly Playground.
The theme for Aug. 1-4 is artistic adventures.
The cost is $50 to $74, based on residency and pass status. Kids must be potty trained.
