According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Jay Pandya was driving a 2011 Accura MDX westbound on Wells Rd., stopped at the stop sign, and was then struck by a 2002 Ford Ranger traveling northbound driven by 65-year-old Paul Tidd.
Tidd’s vehicle then struck a southbound semi-tractor driven by Franklin Rostorfer, 68, causing the semi to roll over.
Tidd was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. His condition is unknown. Pandya and Rostorfer were treated by Anna Rescue.
The Botkins and Fort Loramie Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
UPDATE @ 3:57 p.m.:
Police confirm that one person was taken via a medical hospital.
The crash is currently under investigation.

A medical hospital is en route for at least one person in a two-vehicle crash on Sidney-Wapakoneta and Wells roads in Shelby County, according to scanner traffic.
One of the vehicles sustained heavy damage, according to scanner traffic. Injury status and the number of people involved in the crash is unknown.
