The incident occurred on Otterbein Avenue at Ruskin Road just after 4:30 p.m., per initial reports.
The teen was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital with conditions believed to be non-life threatening.
The driver was not injured, but there was damage to the front end of the car.
According to police, the teenager may have been at fault.
