Montgomery County Children Services is asking that people not bring used luggage and suitcases to their offices due to public health concerns.
“While we appreciate the thoughtfulness, we can’t take them,” read a post on Montgomery County’s Facebook page. “Due to public health concerns, we can only accept new items.”
Earlier this month a Facebook post went viral across the country about children in foster care using trash bags to move their personal items. The post inspired many people, including some in the Miami Valley, to donate gently used luggage to children services.
