Church collecting food for pets

Donations of pet food are being accepted for all creatures - great and small - a ministry of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church. Both dog and cat food are needed.

This food is distributed to area senior citizens and disabled clients needing short term assistance with feeding their pets. All donations are distributed on an as-needed basis. Collection sites include The Widows Home of Dayton, 50 S. Findlay St. (leave donations in container in lobby), Shiloh Animal Hospital, 5321 N. Main St., and Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church on Taylorsville Road, Huber Heights.

The church is also accepting any pet care items (pet sweaters, bed, blankets, etc.) for distribution to homeless pets and rescue groups in the area.
