City to begin fire hydrant flushing

The city of Fairborn will begin its fire hydrant flushing program at 3 p.m. today. The entire process should be complete by May 4.

The Water & Sewer Division will begin in areas north of Doris Drive, including Peebles Estates and Rona Hills, and continuing 24 hours a day, five days a week. Flushing in all areas south of Doris Drive, including Wright View and Wright State University, begins approximately April 9.

Updates during the course of the flushing will appear on Government Access Channel 5 and at www.ci.fairborn.oh.us.
