City outlines sidewalk, curb and gutter program

The city has approved a construction program that calls for the construction or repair of sidewalks, curbs or gutters to more about 150 homes.

City council this week approved the plan, which calls for property owners to receive assessments this June, said Rich Norton, West Carrollton service director.

Through September, property owners will have the option of performing their own work, Norton said, with the bid process running from October until February of 2015. Assessments will go out to property owners in June 2015, Norton said.

Bills will be due in in August of 2015, he said. NICK BLIZZARD
