Site plans for a new Texas Roadhouse steakhouse restaurant have been submitted to the city of Troy for a 7,462-square-foot restaurant to be built at 1809 Towne Park Drive, adjacent to a new 95-room, 61,000-square-foot Home2 Suites by Hilton that is already under construction, according to Tim Davis, assistant development director for the city of Troy. City staff must approve the final site plans before construction of the restaurant can begin, Davis said.

The proposed Texas Roadhouse restaurant building has been valued at $750,000 — “a pretty good investment,” Davis said.
“Anytime you can provide more dining opportunities, it give us the chance to capture more people and show them what Troy has to offer,” Davis said. “Restaurants like this bring in a lot of visitors, and we like the exposure we get from it.”
No projected timetable for the project was immediately available. Messages left Wednesday and Thursday with a spokesman for Texas Roadhouse had not been returned by this morning, Friday Dec. 20. Some national restaurant chains are hesitant to publicly discuss plans for new locations until their plans are fully approved by local communities.
