Congressman Mike Turner, wife separating

Rep. Mike Turner and his wife Lori are separating, Turner’s congressional office said Thursday. “It is with much sadness that I announce that my wife Lori and I are separating,’’ Turner said in a statement.

“We consider this a private issue. I appreciate the thoughts and prayers of our friends, family and community, and will not be commenting any further on this matter.” Lori Turner is a vice president of marketing at Kettering Health Network. She has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton.

The couple has been married for 25 years. They have two daughters, Jessica and Carolyn. Turner and his wife live in Centerville. Turner’s office said the congressman will move to the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton.
