Convicted rapist wanted for not registering address

A convicted rapist is wanted by law enforcement officials.

Larry Hyche is wanted on a charge of failure to provide a change of address. Public records indicate Hyche was convicted of raping two girls younger than 13 years old in 2002.

Hyche was released from prison in 2006 and classified as a sexually oriented offender. He must register his address every year for 10 years.

In March, Hyche was asked to leave his home at the Villager Inn on West North Street in Springfield. He has since not registered his address.

Police said Hyche goes by the street name “Shytown.” He is black and is 30 years old. He is 6-foot, 3-inches in height and has tattoos on his shoulders and right arm.

Anyone with information leading to the arrest of Hyche is asked to call the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation at (855) 224-6446.
