Coronavirus: Premier expands hours for antibody drive-thru test site at UD Arena

The drive-thru antibody test collection site at the University of Dayton Arena will have longer hours beginning Tuesday, Premier Health announced.

The overwhelming response from the community for the lgG antibody test led Premier to add two hours for testing each day, the company said in a release.

The new hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays in the UD Arena parking lot at 1801 Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton.

The site is offering IgG antibody testing for people 18 or older interested in donating convalescent plasma to help patients fighting COVID-19, or who are curious whether an unexplained respiratory illness they had earlier this year actually was the coronavirus.

To schedule a collection site appointment for the antibody test, go to compunetlab.com and click on Coronavirus/COVID-19. Under the Patients section is an order form and a link to schedule an appointment. In addition to scheduling an appointment, print an order form, fill it out, and bring it to the collection site along with credit card and photo ID. Test results will be available through CompuNet’s patient portal, My Labs Now, within a couple days, or by mail within 10 days.
