CVS Health announced that starting tomorrow, it will begin offering drive-thru coronavirus testing at certain pharmacies in Ohio and across the country.
In Ohio, 34 locations will offer testing, including locations in Dayton, Hamilton and Springboro, as part of a drive to establish a thousand locations across the country by the end of the month.
CVS said that patients will need to register in advance and get an appointment to take the test, as well as meet criteria from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as state and age guidelines.
On arrival, CVS said, patients will be directed to the drive-thru window and given a self-swab test and instructions how to use it.
The company said results should be available in about three days.
In Dayton the CVS location offering drive-thru testing beginning tomorrow is at 5981 Far Hills Avenue, in Hamilton at 1115 High Street, and in Springboro at 710 North Main Street.
A full list of CVS pharmacies that will be offering the testing is available on its website.
