Coronavirus leads to flocking of crowds from malls to parks

The stay-at-home order went into effect Monday night and has caused a surge in park visits.

Cox Arboretum has become a haven for families going stir-crazy from being inside for so long.

“It's a good way to show our kids how to be kind and just to enjoy the simple things in life,” said Cassie Martinez.

News Center 7’s Sean Cudahy saw families eating at park tables and taking in the wildlife.

Governor DeWine encourges people to use the parks for walks but warns against large gatherings.

“Several mayors told me they were having some challenges in regards to parks,” said Gov. DeWine. "We got to keep the distance, don't bunch up too close."
