David Deskins has been appointed Greene County Career Center superintendent by the school board.
Deskins will start his new role on Aug. 18 and replaces Dan Schroer who resigned after accepting a job as superintendent for Margaretta Local Schools in Castalia, Ohio.
Before his current position, Deskins spent two years as the human resources director at Penta Career Center near Toledo. He also served six years as the superintendent for Archbold Area Local Schools in northwest Ohio.
