UPDATE @ 8:13 p.m.: One lane of I-70 West has reopened as the cleanup of and investigation into the accident continues.
INITIAL REPORT
An accident reportedly involving as many as two semitrailers has caused the shutdown of I-70 West at or near the Ohio-Indiana border.
The westbound lanes are closed until further notice. The accident was reported just after 6 p.m.
We’re hearing there is at least one person injured.
