Pickup truck rear-ends car on S I-75, setting off chain reaction in Moraine

A pickup truck rear-ended a small Toyota in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 Tuesday evening, which caused a chain-reaction that involved three more vehicles, Moraine police said.

The crashes were reported around 4:20 p.m. between Dryden Road and Dixie Highway in Moraine.

There were five vehicles involved in the crash, though police earlier said there were seven.

One person complained of back pain, but no other injuries were reported.

The left two lanes were blocked on the southbound side of the interstate, but have since reopened.
