Firefighters are battling two fires in neighboring, detached garages in the 200 block of Brooklyn Avenue in Dayton.

Crews were initially dispatched just before 1 a.m. Monday and reported the first fire spread to the second garage when they arrived on scene.

A third garage might have sustained some damage from the fire, but was limited to melted siding, according to scanner traffic from firefighters.
