Dayton, Huber Heights residents win lottery prizes

A Huber Heights woman and a Dayton man have won more than $200,000 each in the Ohio Lottery.

Melanie Alioto of Huber Heights won $219,000 after matching all five numbers in the May 6 Rolling Cash 5. Lonnie D. Combs of Dayton won $250,000 after matching all five numbers and no mega ball in the May 16 Mega Millions’ drawing.

Alioto will receive $151,110 and Combs $172,500 after federal and state taxes are withheld.

Alioto purchased the winning ticket from Kroger, 7747 Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights and used auto lotto. Kroger receives a $500 agent bonus for selling a five-of-five Rolling Cash 5 ticket.

Combs purchased the second-tier winning Mega Millions’ ticket from East Third Shell, 3406 East Third Street in Dayton. East Third Shell receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second-tier prize-winning ticket with no mega ball.
