McShirley was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle involved has been identified a John Goubeaux, 65, of Versailles. Goubeaux was treated on the scene and later transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office confirms one person was ejected and killed in a crash Wednesday night in Ohio 47.
According to a release, deputies and medics were dispatched around 10:40 p.m. to the 9000 block of Ohio 47, near Patterson-Halpin Road on a reported serious crash.
Deputies said a preliminary investigation found a Chevy S10 pickup was traveling west on Ohio 47 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, before coming back onto the roadway and slid sideways into the eastbound lane of the road.
The S10 was then hit by a Chevy Colorado truck that was traveling eastbound, ejecting the driver of the S10.
The driver, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Colorado truck was treated at the scene, and later transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
Deputies said identities will be released later, pending notification of family.
Potential causes of the crash and additional details were not available.

Shelby County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a serious two-vehicle accident in the 8000 block of state Route 47.
We’re hearing there are at least two victims from the accident, which was dispatched about 10:40 p.m.
Deputies right now are confirming only that an accident has occurred.
