Dump truck hits tree in West Carrollton

The driver of a dump truck was taken to a hospital after driving through an Infirmary Road yard and hitting a tree.

A coworker on the scene said the incident may have been the result of a medical issue.

It is not clear if the driver was taken to the hospital for a medical issue or if they were injured in the crash.

A woman who lives on Infirmary Road said the dump truck hit two large rocks at edge of the driveway near the street.

She said the dump truck probably would’ve hit her house if it hadn’t been for those rocks.

The crash was reported in the 4900 block of Infirmary Road around 11:33 a.m.

Part of of a tree and a smashed trash can were in a yard at the scene with some trash scattered on the ground.
