Power restored after failed cable causes outage for around 800 in Kettering

A DP&L spokesperson said that a failed underground cable caused an outage for just under 800 people in Kettering.

The outage was reported around 11:30 p.m. Friday night and was restored around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

A caller who said he lives near the Fraze said his entire neighborhood was in the dark.

The outage appears to be scattered. The estimated restoration time is 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the DP&L online outage page.
