Exchange shoppers can enter to win Super Bowl LV tickets

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service and Procter & Gamble are giving shoppers at the Wright-Patterson Exchange and Exchanges worldwide the chance to experience all the gridiron action of Super Bowl LV in person.

Through June 4, authorized Exchange shoppers can enter the Greatest of All Tides sweepstakes at www.shopmyexchange.com/sweepstakes. One grand-prize winner will receive two tickets to Super Bowl LV, held Feb. 21 in Tampa, along with two tickets to an exclusive, invite-only pregame tailgate party – a combined $7,000 value.

One second-place winner will receive two Super Bowl LV game tickets, a $4,000 value. A $1,500 Exchange gift card, which can be put toward the purchase of a new washer and dryer, will be awarded to one third-place winner.

Commissaries honor sacrifices of fallen service members

“The lights, the crowd, the action – there’s nothing quite like attending the biggest game of the year,” said Wright-Patterson Exchange General Manager Jermaine Wilson. “It’ll be the perfect way for our lucky winners to kick off their 2021.”

Travel and accommodations are not included with prizes. Authorized shoppers age 18 or older are eligible to enter. Honorably discharged veterans who have verified their eligibility to shop the Exchange online can enter the sweepstakes, too. Veterans can find out more on the Exchange’s community Hub page at https://bit.ly/Vets4Life .

Winners will be selected on or about June 12.

New MILITARY STAR card applicants can save

Airmen, retirees, veterans and military families can save an extra 15% at their Wright-Patterson Exchange by signing up for a new MILITARY STAR account.

From May 14 through May 28, military shoppers who apply and are approved for a new MILITARY STAR account will receive 15% off all purchases made the first day instead of the 10% discount regularly offered. The discount will appear as a credit on the first monthly billing statement.

“MILITARY STAR continues to be there for the military community, offering discounts and generous terms,” said Wilson. “Now’s a great time to get extra savings by signing up for a card.”

Cardholders receive two points for every dollar spent with MILITARY STAR and automatically earn a $20 rewards card every 2,000 points.

Other benefits of the MILITARY STAR card include:

• Free shipping on all www.ShopMyExchange.com and www.MyNavyExchange.com orders.

• The lowest flat-rate APR (10.24%) among store cards – rate is offered to all cardholders upon account approval.

• No annual, late or over-limit fees.

• Reduced-interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers.

New accountholders will receive the 15% discount on all first-day purchases at military exchanges and commissaries, as well as online at www.ShopMyExchange.com , www.MyNavyExchange.com and www.ShopCGX.com.

Current cardholders who are facing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic can email MilitaryStar@aafes.com for assistance.
