Officers said prior to finding the crash, the vehicle fled from them at the Caliph Court Apartment Complex when they attempted to stop the vehicle. Dayton police did not pursue the car.
Police searched in the area of the crash and did not find anyone else.
Investigators had the vehicle towed to Dayton’s evidence technician's garage “as a result of possibly having more criminal involvement.”
