There were a few customers and employees in the business, but there were no injuries, department Fire Investigator David Roth said.
The owner's wife smelled smoke and alerted her husband.
According to a preliminary investigation, the fire is believed to have started at the front of the building, he said.
The business will not be open Wednesday until the issue with the electric service can be remedied, Roth said.
