Fire officials said that the site of a fire Sunday morning was an upstairs bathroom, and began on a mattress, although the cause of the fire is unknown and is still under investigation.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 1300 block of St. Adalbert Avenue just before 2 a.m.
Officials confirmed that a woman was taken from the dwelling. She had a leg injury but was otherwise in stable condition, and was transported to an area hospital.
According to firefighters at the scene, the fire was very small with minimal property damage.
