Firefighters extinguish truck fire on Pennywood Drive

Fire crews have cleared the scene of the fire, our responder said.

INITIAL REPORT:

Beavercreek fire crews are on the scene of a fire in the 4200 block of Pennywood Drive.

Scanner traffic indicated that a caller reported a truck on fire in their neighbor’s driveway at around 6 a.m.

While crews were on their way, reports began to come in of an explosion noise in the area, according to scanner traffic.
