So far Kidde has received eight reports involving the alarm, but no injuries have been reported.
The Vandalia Fire Dept. has issued a notice to Vandalia residents who may have these alarms. If residents need assistance in getting a replacement alarm, contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at 937-898-2261.
