3 escape Huber Heights commercial building fire; cause under investigation

UPDATE @ 10:35 a.m.: Three people escaped safely from Ohio Home Health Care, one of up to nine businesses in a cluster of small businesses on Nebraska Avenue where a fire broke out Monday morning. 

The fire is believed to have started in the attic of the building, the Huber Heights fire chief said. The cause is under investigation.

Three of the businesses have been damaged by the fire and power to all of the businesses has been cut off. 

Nebraksa Avenue is closed to traffic until further notice.

INITIAL REPORT

A fire has been reported at a commercial building on Nebraska Avenue this morning.

Initial reports indicated smoke was showing from the building in the 5000 block of Nebraska.

The fire was reported around 9:15 a.m.
