Fire that scorched section of Sycamore State Park is under investigation

The cause of a fire that burned at least a half-acre at Sycamore State Park in Trotwood is undetermined and remains under investigation, a Trotwood fire lieutenant said.

The burned area is on a horse trail in the 2,384-acre park in the 4600 block of North Diamond Mill Road.

No injuries were reported, the fire lieutenant said. Crews were dispatched sometime after 9 p.m.

Farmersville fire was also on scene to assist.
