Freebie alert: How you can get a free taco at Taco Bell today only

If you love tacos, today is your day.

Taco Bell announced that it will be giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos to crowds of hungry customers across the country from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1. The promotion is in honor of Houston Astros Cameron Maybin's "stolen base heard 'round the world" in Game 2 of the World Series.

Maybin tweeted on Oct. 26: What's better than a win in extra innings? Free @tacobell! Proud to be America's #StealABaseStealATaco guy. You ALL get free tacos on 11/1!

As Taco Bell writes on its website, "we believe one great steal deserves another. So run into any participating Taco Bell location on Wednesday, November 1st to score your free Doritos Locos Tacos."

This is the sixth time Taco Bell has done a promotion like this in conjunction with the World Series. There is no purchase necessary and a limit of one taco per person at participating locations while supplies last.
