A gas leak is under investigation at AK Steel Corp. in Middletown.

The Middletown Division of Fire responded to the plant after the leak was detected.

Mutual aid was requested around 9 p.m. for Monroe and Franklin fire crews to also respond.

We are working to find out more about the gas leak and what caused it.
