The 2016 Summer Concert Series, presented by the Centerville Arts Commission, continues July 3 with the Americana concert. Performers include the Centerville Community Band and Chorus, with a canon performance by the Fifth Ohio Light Artillery.
All concerts start at 7 p.m. at Stubbs Park Amphitheater, 255 W. Spring Valley Road.
Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
All concerts are free and open to the public, although donations are accepted.

Go 4th! to be held at Delco Park
The Go 4th! celebration will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. July 4 at Delco Park, 1700 Delco Park Drive.
Musicians 24 Seven and The Hathaways will perform. Food vendors, and a family Play2Day zone will be available before the fireworks.

Picnic and Putters event set
Picnic and Putters get together for grandparents and grandchildren will be held from noon to 2 p.m. July 14 at Rollandia/Magic Castle, 4990 Wilmington Pike.
This is one of three events geared toward a fun time and creating a “grand” connection between the generations.
Meet at the shelter behind Magic Castle for a picnic, followed by a round of miniature golf.
The cost is $12 for Lathrem members, $15 for residents and $20 for nonresidents. The prices are for one grandparent and grandchild. Add $4 for each additional person.

Program explores healthy bedtime habits
The Centerville Pediatric Dentistry group will present an interactive program from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 7 at Wright Memorial Public Library, 1776 Far Hills Ave.
Brush, Book, Bed will teach participants how to brush, floss and make healthy food choices.

Family triathlon set for July 16
A family triathlon event will be held July 16 at the Washington Twp. Recreation Center and Yankee Park.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m.
The event is open to kids seven years and older. Runners must be between 7 and 15 years old, swimmers between 16 and 40 years old and bikers 41 years and older.
The teams must have one team member per age group to enter.
The cost is $45 for a team of three that registers by July 15. The cost is $55 (cash only) for onsite registration on the day of the event.
