The furlough of federal employees has canceled plans to host the Great Wright Brothers Aero Carnival this Saturday, according to Wright-Patterson spokesman Daryl Mayer.
The National Park Service event had been set to take place on Huffman Prairie Flying Field at Wright-Patterson, but officials had agreed to cancel the carnival if the emergency furlough of employees remained in effect through Thursday, Mayer said.
