The Fairborn Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fairborn Development Corporation are hosting the Greene County Job Fair and Business Expo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Wright State’s Nutter Center.
More than 70 businesses will be in attendance, including Fuyao Glass, Kroger, Speedway, McDonald’s, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, Meijer, I Supply, PSA Airlines and Grismer Tire.
The event is free and open to the public.

Support group to meet Monday
A Nar-Anon support group, Stepping Forward, is scheduled to meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hillside Chapel, 3515 Shakertown Road.
Parking is in the back of the chapel and the meeting is located near the double doors in the middle building.
The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction. As a Twelve-Step Program, the group offers help by sharing experiences, strength and hope. STEVEN MATTHEWS

Foundation announces scholarship recipients
The Xenia Community Schools Foundation has announced the recipients of the annual scholarships.
They are: Mary Beam ($3,000 scholarship sponsored by the Xenia Community Schools Foundation); Grace Huffman ($500, Dale Louderback City Councilman Scholarship); and Anthony Ellsworth and Adrianna Young ($1,000, John Meyer II Memorial Scholarships).
Students interested in applying for the Xenia Community Schools Foundation scholarship are required to follow the scholarship application process adopted by the Xenia High School guidance office. STEVEN MATTHEWS

Foundation hosting community garage sale
The Xenia Community Schools Foundation will be hosting a “Community Garage Sale and More!” from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13 at Shawnee Elementary School.
Individuals and vendors can rent their own spaces. Indoor spaces are $50 and outdoor spaces cost $35.
Through June 10, donations will be accepted from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at TDL Tool storage, 1296 S. Patton St.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the Foundation’s Grants Program.
