Atrium Medical Center will conduct a hazardous material decontamination training exercise from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. today, Nov. 20, according to a spokesperson for the Middletown hospital.
“The safety training drill will appear and sound like a real event; however, it will only be a training drill to better prepare staff and partners for possible future real-life events,” according to a statement from the hospital.
