Here’s when you can see the movie Robert Redford, Casey Affleck and Danny Glover filmed in downtown Dayton

THE OLD MAN AND THE GUN starring Sissy Spacek and Robert Redford was filmed in Cincinnati, Dayton, Hamilton and other parts of Southwest Ohio.

The countdown has begun for the release of the A-star movie filmed in Cincinnati and parts of Dayton and Hamilton last year.

"Old Man and The Gun," starring Robert RedfordDanny GloverCasey Affleck and Sissy Spacek, is set to be released on Oct. 5, according to Fox Searchlight.

The movie based on bank robber and escape artist Forrest “Woody” Tucker’s real life was filmed here last spring.

Redford plays Tucker in the film directed and written by David Lowery.

The story is based on the 2003 New Yorker article "The Old Man and the Gun" by Dan Grann.

In Dayton, cars seemingly plucked from the 1970s took over Second Street near Liberty Tower as part of a chase and several other scenes recorded starting May 1, 2017 for the film.

The former Liberty Savings Bank sections of Liberty Tower, an art deco high-rise at 120 W. Second St., was also used for the film.

Parts of downtown Hamilton were also used.

A gas station and the Midway Theater in Bethel were also used in the movie, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Fox Searchlight has also released photos from the film.
