High winds snapped a tree late this afternoon, which forced large limbs atop a car parked in front of a Sixth Street house.
No injuries were reported, but limbs and branches were blocking the sidewalk and part of the roadway near Kinder Elementary School.
The back windshield of the white Subaru was smashed in, and the front windshield sustained multiple cracks.
The tree was knocked down as strong winds arrived ahead of a severe storm system.
