The Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway announced it will open to the public on Thursday, Aug. 28.
The $250 million facility, at Needmore and Wagner Ford roads, is near completion, General Manager Gary DeWitt said Monday.
It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The opening date is pending final regulatory approval, according to a statement released Monday.
The new location will create about 500 permanent jobs, DeWitt said.
Harness racing will begin Oct. 3.
