House that helps Wright-Patt Medical Center part of veterans breakfast

The Fisher-Nightingale Houses will be part of the 12th annual Miami Twp. Veterans Breakfast next month.

The Nov. 8 breakfast, which honors those who fought for our country and those who are currently serving in the military, will feature Fisher-Nightingale House Executive Director Chris Stanley as keynote speaker.

There are three area Fisher-Nightingale Houses, which works with the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center to provide an affordable on-base refuge close to the medical center for patients and their families.

Two of the houses are at Wright-Patterson and the newest house is located at the Dayton VA Medical Center, according to the organization’s website.

This year’s breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. at the Miami Valley Fire District Station 51, 10899 Wood Road.

The breakfast will be provided by Scratch Caterers and the Dayton Christian School choir will perform.
