Humane Society Pet of the Week

Name: Calypso

Age: 2 years

Color/type: Tan Terrier/Pit Mix

Gender: Female

Spayed: Yes

Why she is special: This gorgeous girl is Calypso! She was found as a stray and released to us from another shelter. She is shy in the kennel environment but once she gets outside of the kennels, her true personality really shines! She is a silly, goofy, playful girl who just wants her belly rubbed or just to explore her environment and lay in the sunny grass. She gets a huge smile on her face and it is just the cutest thing! She really wants to accept love and attention but just needs someone to help build up her trust and confidence a little so would need a family willing to give her the patience and love she deserves. She is also pretty calm, quiet, and sweet and would make an excellent companion and loyal friend to anyone wanting a great dog in their life. Calypso really deserves the best! If you think you can be that person for her, come in, fill out an application, and see if this sweet girl is the perfect one for you!
