UPDATE @ 6:50 p.m.: A person, identified by Beavercreek police as a teenager, has been taken down from a fence on the Indian Ripple Road overpass to I-675.
She has been placed in a medic unit and has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The overpass was shut down and the interstate partially shut down just before 6:30 p.m. when police and fire units were dispatched on the report that a person was climbing fencing on the overpass.
The interstate and the overpass have been reopened.
Indian Ripple Road at the I-675 overpass has been shut down and there is heavy police presence in the area.
That’s causing a huge backup on the interstate and the Ohio Highway State Patrol is diverting traffic onto the exit and entrance ramps at Indian Ripple Road and around the Indian Ripple Road overpass.
