Teenager taken off fence on Indian Ripple Road at I-675 overpass

UPDATE @ 6:50 p.m.: A person, identified by Beavercreek police as a teenager, has been taken down from a fence on the Indian Ripple Road overpass to I-675.

She has been placed in a medic unit and has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The overpass was shut down and the interstate partially shut down just before 6:30 p.m. when police and fire units were dispatched on the report that a person was climbing fencing on the overpass.

The interstate and the overpass have been reopened.

INITIAL REPORT

Indian Ripple Road at the I-675 overpass has been shut down and there is heavy police presence in the area.

That’s causing a huge backup on the interstate and the Ohio Highway State Patrol is diverting traffic onto the exit and entrance ramps at Indian Ripple Road and around the Indian Ripple Road overpass.

OTHER LOCAL NEWS: Car fire in Riverside is under investigation

There is a fire truck, with its ladder extended, on the north side of the overpass. There also appears to be a person clinging to the fence over the interstate on the north side.

There has been no report of any injury.
