About the Author
A writing contest sponsored by the city of Kettering Board of Community Relations will focus on the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The contest is open to students in grades 6-12 who reside in or attend school in Kettering.
Submissions must be typewritten and at least one page in length but no more than three pages long. The essays should be about King or issues of diversity in the Kettering Community. Submissions should be hand delivered or mailed to the Kettering Government Center, Attention Board of Community Relations, 3600 Shroyer Road, Kettering OH 45429. The deadline to submit entries is Friday, Jan. 16.
